About Me
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence at Kookmin University, where I have been serving since September 2025. I received my Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from the Kim Jaechul Graduate School of AI, KAIST under the supervision of Prof. Jong Chul Ye. Prior to my Ph.D., I worked as a senior researcher at the Agency for Defense Development (ADD) for 7.5 years, specializing in wireless communication systems and defense applications.
My research focuses on generative modeling, with a particular interest in developing trustworthy and responsible AI systems. I also explore the intersection of generative models and scientific discovery, aiming to advance scientific understanding and innovation through generative approaches.
